1. How long will my dog be left alone at night?

1a. Our staff enjoys making each room cozy so they can rest well from about 6pm when they eat, until 10pm when we let them out for a final call of duty. Then its a bright and early rise at 6am week days and 730am weekends

2. Will my dog get some rest during the day?

2a. We monitor each dog for nap time. By 2 or 3pm we usually dim the lights and play a movie. Cots are out as well and there is a space off to the side to get away from it all.

3. What are your cleaning procedures?

3a. Our cleaning procedures are extensive. Lucky Dog stays well ahead of the pack with a daily sanitation of anywhere there paws touch. Walk into our facility and smell the difference our hard working employees make 365 days per year.

4. When can I drop off and pick up?

4a. Drop off and pick ups can be done during normal business hours of 6:30am-6:30pm Monday – Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday and Sunday. Hours remain the same 365 days per year

5. Why do you charge for ½ day of daycare if I pick up after noon?

5a. If we did not charge for daycare we would not be able to properly staff for optimal care of the dogs. Also, this charge will help reduce congestion at checkout time. Imagine if ten people were in our lobby all trying to checkout at the same time. Now that we have this charge most folks that can show up before noon will.

6. Will my dog be perfectly safe?

6a. We have gone through great lengths to ensure safety but just like kids on a playground, sometimes a scratch will happen. Trips to the vet are thankfully rare and both owners are notified as soon as possible.

7. Can anyone work at Lucky Dog?

7a. Yep! We look for people who really care about the dogs and the owners who hold the dear. Employees that last are very calm and collective, able to figure stuff out successfully and understand the team work involved in taking great care of dogs. Everyone here is dedicated to reducing the stress of being boarded.

8. Is there anyone staying overnight?

8a. The owner, Todd and Megin his wonderful fiancè, stays and let’s the boarders out at night. When they are vacationing the manager stays to do the same
