Daycare Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When I drop my dog off for daycare, should I bring any toys?

A: No, please keep your toys at home. We provide toys for the dogs to play with while they are here. We sterilize all toys every night.

Q: Do you take dogs for walks during the day?

A: No.

Q: Where do the dogs go to the bathroom?

A: We are an indoor environment, so the dogs eliminate on the concrete floor. We clean up any messes immediately after they occur. Also, we have grates in the floor so we are able to deep clean the facility every night by power washing with KennelSol (a powerful dog-safe kennel cleaner).

Q: How do you manage conflicts between dogs?

A: We immediately kennel any dogs who get into conflicts (give them a "time out"), then calm down the pack with music and distractions, and then we'll reintroduce the kenneled dogs at the appropriate time. We require a free trial day prior to accepting a dog for daycare or boarding. During that trial day, we observe the dog's behavior to determine whether the dog will adapt well to our indoor environment. We do not accept dogs that show signs of extreme separation anxiety, aggression toward other dogs, or aggression toward people. In some cases, we may need to reject a dog after several more visits or after a marked behavioral change.
